The Acts of Roque Rojas
The Chosen One of the Third Era
The life of Roque Rojas was filled with extraordinary events, many of which remained sealed by his modesty and humility. But many others were gathered by multiple people. Here are some of those facts.
- Being baptized by the catholic priest Filogonio Quezada, some doves flew and stood on the boy, singing. Of this, written testimony in the reports of that epoch remains at the Archbishoprie until this day. At the age of five, he foretold the death of the Romero spouses, prophesy which caused amazement among those who knew him. At the age of twelve, he foretold the precise whereabouts of the little girl Andrea, who lived in the property of don Juan Lopez Montiel and had been kiodnapped and taken hostage by some bandits and taken to El Tesoro Hill in the surroundings of Mexico City.
- When older, he studied at the Seminary of Mexico and on an ocassion in which his tutor, Fray Antonio Vazquez, was giving mass and turned his face from the altar, he saw from above the chapel a shining dove flying out and, after standing on Roque Rojas' head, it disappeared. On the 23rd of June, 1861, he cured a leper and made a mute-born person of the family of Petra Ortiz talk.
- On the year of 1862 he returned the lost sight of Onofre Martinez, brother of Lucas Martinez.
- That same year on a visit he made to the village of San Andres Topilejo near Mexico City and about to be stoned to death by a crowd stirred by the catholic priest of the place, he did the miracle in front of numerous people of making the Civil Judge of the locality, who was born a paralytic, walk. Taking advantage of the amazement of the mob, he saved his life.
- On the year 1863 he resuscitated Mrs. Refugio Valverde, wife of Porfirio Lopezcano de Santillan, two days afer she had died.
- On the 31st of May, 1969, on the Streets of Cipres and Las Flores in Mexico City, Roque Rojas celebrated the spiritual mark of Benito Juarez, president of Mexico.
- A short time afterwards, standing before the Mexico City Council, he made a large table walk by only applying his hands, and splitting the marble of such table in half.
- During the French Intervention in Mexico, at Mount Estrella in Iztapalapa, he was being chased by two french soldiers who wanted to kill him and when Roque Rojas came out of the cave in which he was hiding, the soldiers saw him turn into a radiant sun, and freightened, they fell to their knees before him.
- On the year 1869 he made water spring out in the village of San Miguel Regla in the mexican state of Hidalgo and he baptized it as the New Jordan; this phenomena still attracts crowds at the site. In the town of Atizapan of Zaragoza, in Tlalnepantla, in the state of Mexico, he also made water spring out and baptized the place calling it The Well of Samaria.
- The emperors imposed by France upon Mexico, Maximillian and Carlota, moved by curiosity and because of his fame of thaumaturge and prophet, had him taken before them and he prophesized that a Hasburg would spill his blood on Mexican soil and that Mexico would be, in the future, a country without kings. Thinking him mad (they were at the peak of their power), they let him go considering him a harmless fool.
These are some of the singular facts of the life of Roque Rojas, chosen by God to manifest the spirit of Elijah, the Messenger of the Third Era.
