In-home parties are a unique opportunity afforded to On-the-Go sellers. These intimate demos allow you to better connect with customers, sell products, and find new leads for additional demo opportunities. Here is our advice when preparing and pulling off a party. Prepping for Profitable In-Home Parties: Tips for Before the Party Check in with your host on party details. Partner with them on planning to make it easier on both of you. Who’s sending invites? Is there a theme or special event to celebrate? Are there specific products or demos requested by the host or guests? Will there be food or decorations? What is the make-up of the guests? If you’re selling intimate products, will all guests be comfortable? Will there be a private area where you and guests can talk one-on-one while ordering products? What to Wear to In-Home Parties What you wear reflects your business and your brand. You want to show off your brand’s unique style while also staying in line with the party’s theme or guests’ expectations. In-Home Parties Checklist: What to Bring If you're a first-time party host or a seasoned pro, being prepared sets the tone for a smooth and successful in-home event, here are things to keep in mind: Product display and demo materials (tablecloth, baskets, other props, etc.) Contact info forms (can be paper or digital) Business cards Pen and paper for any notes Selling Tips for During Party Time Selling adult toys at an in-home party is all about creating a fun, relaxed, and informative environment where guests can explore products comfortably.
